People or Location Doesn't Matter - It is Just As Is, Just As Is..

Departure from Lovely Nepal and Grateful for allowing me to make it my home "Om Mani Padme hum." I will return and this time to make a greater impact.....

It doesn't matter where you go. We are always changing from one place to another, from one location to another, from conversation to conversation, from thought to thought, and it can go forever. To the mind, whatever we do, it will allocate a name and a form - labels. It all comes from memory. If you are unconscious you will not notice that your feelings attached to every situation is just a replication from the past. As I embarked on my return to the US, I decided to test my mind and see what it will pop out. When I was waiting for the assigned gate, the body was getting nervous and worry on what will happen when I reached the US because I'm going to a new place where I've never been before. And again, I'm doing something completely different/new. The mind struggled to figure out a solution and it kept bringing several options and it wouldn't stop because I just kept observing and I didn't make a decision based on what the mind suggested. Because our brain's natural state is in survival mode, I wasn't surprised by the different options. Even some of the feelings that rose, resembled the same feeling when I was returning from Afghanistan to the US - I caught this familiar feeling. The idea is just to see everything as is. When I landed in the US, the mind struggled again to allocate some old feelings because it is not familiar with the location where I'm. But even, if I would have returned to where I lived before in the US, it will not matter because the environment doesn't matter - people or infrastructure. What I'm training myself to do is to begin to drop the labels on what the eyes see and just enjoy the present moment - as is, just as is. And this is freedom.....
